EU 14-day right of withdrawal
As an EU consumer you have a statutory right to withdraw from any service contract concluded at a distance within 14 calendar days of contract formation, without giving any reason and without penalty. To exercise this right, send a clear written statement (email is sufficient) to refunds@adurothemagicpen.com naming your order reference. We will acknowledge receipt within 1 business day.
Before work begins
You may cancel any commission for a full refund at any time before ceremonial work has begun. Refunds — including all instalments already taken — are processed within 5 business days to the original method of payment.
Once work has begun
If you expressly request that work commence inside the 14-day withdrawal window, the price is reduced pro-rata for the portion already performed at the time we receive your cancellation; the remainder is refunded within 5 business days. Once a ceremony has been fully performed at your request, the right of withdrawal lapses by operation of law.
Instalment plans
If you cancel within the withdrawal window: any instalments already collected are refunded within 5 business days, and no further instalments are charged. If work has commenced at your request, future instalments are reduced or cancelled so that the total paid matches the pro-rata price of the work actually performed. No cancellation fee, no penalty, no debt reporting.
Quality concerns
If you believe a commission was not delivered with the care described on this site, please contact us in writing within 14 days of receiving the session summary. We will review every case in good faith and, where appropriate, offer a re-working of the ceremony or a partial refund within 5 business days of agreement.
Non-refundable items
Bespoke physical items personalised to you (e.g. inscribed pieces, handwritten works) are non-refundable once production has begun, unless defective. This does not affect your statutory rights.
How to request a refund
Email refunds@adurothemagicpen.com with your order reference, the reason for the request, and your preferred refund method. You will receive a written confirmation within 1 business day and the refund within 5 business days of confirmation.
